IÉSEG Network
Do you aspire to be a Leader with a capital L? A leader who knows how to reinvent himself, act with heart, listen while mastering the art of compromise, intellectual and emotional intelligence because he knows that this is the price he will pay to help his collaborators and himself grow?!
Therefore, how about approaching this extremely interesting topic of Leadership from a completely pioneering and original prism, to grasp with finesse the real keys to it? As usual, IÉSEG Network's Career Development Center offers you the opportunity to get off the beaten path. Come and listen to the ex-cep-tional career conference of Mr. Christian MONJOU, Associate Professor of the University, research professor at Oxford, and a great expert in managerial analysis, who masters the art of piercing the secrets of Leadership from a picture beyond the colors, lines, and characters.
We look forward to seeing many of you on Tuesday, May 31, at 7 pm, at this unique conference that will continue with a cocktail reception.
Fabienne NYS - How her initial calling caught up with her
Graduated in the first classes of IÉSEG, Fabienne (Grande École 1979) started her career in IT with IBM, then in telecoms with SFR. After discovering the day of reckoning, Fabienne decided to combine this ecological awareness with her first vocation, working in tourism. Discover through this portrait her journey and the steps that led her to launch the Ecolodge de Tréméhen.
JOG & JIM - Colourful sportswear with no plastics
What if sport was not just about performance and pushing yourself to the limits, but simply a way to have fun and feel good? JOG & JIM is the joyful venture that makes you want to get moving without polluting. Find out more about this ambitious project based in Hauts-de-France and created by Vincent GODBERT (Grande École 2017).
IÉSEG strengthens its teaching in Sustainable Finance in its Grande École program in the next academic year
In line with its Vision to “Empower changemakers for a better society”, IÉSEG proposes for the next academic year a course dedicated to Sustainable Finance to its Grande École Program students. Maia GEJADZE, professor of Finance at IÉSEG and developer of this course, gives us more information about it and about Sustainable Finance, that incorporates environmental, social and governance aspects in financial decision-making process to foster more long-term, sustainable growth in the economy.
International clubs - Let's meet again!
You are probably familiar with our regional and international clubs. Did you know that volunteer graduates run these clubs? They organize, on average, two to three events per year. Following the period we have just experienced, several of our clubs are relaunching their events in the coming weeks! Find them in our agenda section on our website.
Are you living abroad? Contact us to find out how to plan events in your city.
How do you fit in when you start working at a new company?
Joining a new company is always a challenge. It’s also a chance to make a new start, with its own share of uncertainties. The first 30 days in a new job are decisive when it comes to making an impression and it may not be easy. Indeed, you will need to familiarise yourself with the new organisation, take on board a lot of new information, find some quick-wins and build your support network.
The quarter-life crisis, an essential prelude to the growth of young graduates
Are you familiar with the quarter-life crisis that affects young people between the ages of 25 and 35? Elizabeth TOUCAS, Manager of the IÉSEG Network's Career Development Center, invites you to have a look at her article, which inspired an interview published in the 'Eco Week End' section of the Belgian national newspaper La Libre on April 23. Elizabeth explains in the article how this crisis makes them question their professional future and, more precisely, their search for meaning, fulfillment, recognition, and new challenges. Nowadays, young people are indeed looking for a professional but also personal achievement in their work! Does it concern you?
