All supply chains have been optimized for linear consumption, with hundreds of thousands of really smart engineers working on it. Now, we have to change it to a circular model. The challenge seems titanic.

Marc Violo is part of the Loop initiative from Terracycle and deals with brands such as Procter&Gamble, Pepsi Cola, Coca Cola to circularize their supply chain.

Their objective: get the cost of reuse to the same cost of creating a new packaging for brands and make the reverse logistic the base of industrial supply chains.

In this episode, we also talk about the reuse cycles and their impact on CO2 emissions. How many cycles a reusable product must complete in order to compensate a single-use product?
