The beginnings of the adventure
After the end of Agricool, the startup he had launched in 2015, Guillaume Fourdinier (Grande École 2010) went on a sailing trip to the West Indies with his family. Once back home, he made up his mind: it was time to create a new company.
During the summer of 2022, he studied different sectors such as the materials of tomorrow, the potential of algae and agriculture. His problem? He wanted to dig into everything! So he decided to publish his analyses, along with ideas for boxes to launch. The newsletter was born, somewhat by chance.
6 months later, over 8,000 readers are reading Le Plongeoir, for a weekly shot of entrepreneurial inspiration.
So much so, that Guillaume thinks it's probably the foundation of his new business :) That's the magic of entrepreneurship. You want to build something specific, but it's always another story that ends up being written.
Who is Le Plongeoir for?
The curious. Realistic optimists. To those who know we're in trouble, but are certain we can still change everything. Those who want to shake things up. To those who'd like to start a business, or join one. To those who don't know where to start.
Okay, but what exactly is Le Plongeoir?
Le Plongeoir is a newsletter that plunges you into the future for 15 minutes every Friday. Guillaume deciphers a sector and comes up with ideas for companies to create or join that could turn everything upside down.
He aims to facilitate access to entrepreneurship in all its forms. You may want to set up an association, a company, or a project within a large corporation. You may want to freelance, launch a SME or a startup that raises $50 million. You may also want to dive from a large group to a small structure.
Want to take the plunge?
All you have to do is choose your topic: algae, snacks, materials, agriculture, tourism, batteries, maritime, water, co-products, oceans, trains, artificial intelligence, capturing CO2 from the air.
And don't forget to sign up for future Plongeons.
