Optee - The platform that is revolutionizing energy renovation in B2B

What is the concept?
 
With Optee, our goal is to transform energy renovation into a smooth, transparent, and accessible process for all involved stakeholders. By combining advanced technological tools and industry expertise, we offer a unique platform that centralizes needs, identifies the best solutions, and connects users with certified professionals.

Our mission aligns with the goals of the Paris Agreement: to reduce carbon emissions and promote a global ecological transition. We believe that each renovation project helps to minimize the environmental impact of buildings, which represent a significant share of global emissions. With Optee, we aim to democratize access to effective solutions while maximizing their ecological and economic impact.

A structured approach with three key areas:

1. An intuitive and comprehensive interface
   Our platform supports property owners, property managers, building trustees, and other stakeholders at every stage of their renovation projects. Using artificial intelligence tools, we assist in assessing needs, defining an optimal action plan, and efficiently navigating through various technical, regulatory, and financial aspects.

2. A reliable and transparent marketplace
   Optee directly connects users with certified RGE (Recognized Guarantee of the Environment) professionals. This system ensures a rigorous selection of trustworthy partners through KYC validation procedures, providing genuine added value.

3. Collaborative and analytical dashboards
   Our tools allow real-time tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects. These smart dashboards facilitate collaboration between teams and service providers, simplify the tracking of renovation plans, and offer precise analysis of return on investment.

How did the idea come about?
 

It all started in 2020, when Maxime and I compared our respective experiences in consulting. We noticed the limitations of existing systems in energy renovation: poorly targeted public subsidies, unscrupulous intermediaries, and property owners often left to their own devices in the face of growing energy poverty.

When reflecting on global climate challenges, we realized that the energy renovation of buildings is a key lever to achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement. These observations led us to develop a technological solution capable of accelerating this transition while simplifying the process for the stakeholders involved.

Our vision became a reality thanks to our incubation at the Scientific and Technical Center for Building (CSTB) for 2 years. This experience allowed us to develop a predictive algorithm capable of proposing personalized action plans and supporting the various stages of a renovation project.

Where do you stand today?

Today, Optee is at a turning point in its development. In May 2024, we raised funds from Anthony Bourbon of BLAST, which allowed us to strengthen our technology and accelerate our growth.

We have also achieved new commercial successes, particularly with players in the tertiary sector, such as hospitality, as well as with major names in property management. At the same time, we have started promising discussions with engineering firms and project management assistants (AMO), as we are convinced that our platform can become an essential productivity tool for all stakeholders in the energy revolution.

Finally, our ambition also extends to building professionals. We are currently working on creating a dedicated space on the platform, allowing them to independently manage operations, track, and handle their projects directly from our tool. This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration and optimize efficiency at every stage of renovation projects.

What are your goals for the coming years?

We aim to change the perception of energy renovation by positioning it as a profitable and accessible investment. Tools like energy performance contracts (EPC) and green loans demonstrate that a quick return on investment is possible, while also enhancing real estate assets.

Our ambition is also to scale our vision nationally and internationally. This involves gradual expansion through institutional, banking, and commercial partnerships, aimed at promoting energy renovation as a central lever for ecological transition.

Finally, we aim to position Optee as an essential catalyst for this transformation by providing concrete and measurable solutions, while actively contributing to the goals of the Paris Agreement and the fight against global warming.
