IÉSEG Network
Every year, IÉSEG Network and the Incubator organize the IÉSEG Entrepreneur Award. This competition, an unmissable event for anyone in the IÉSEG community who has set up a business, enables you to gain visibility and offers you the opportunity to win one of the two prizes awarded by IÉSEG (€8,000) and IÉSEG Network (€3,000). If you started a project, and your business has been up and running for less than five years, you have until February 24 to send your Pitch Deck.
Meredith Hunter-Mason - A project of a life born of a passion
Dance has always been part of Meredith's life (International MBA student) since she fell in love with this art when she was a little girl. After obtaining her degree in arts administration, she realized her dream by joining the City Ballet of San Diego. Becoming a professional dancer she went on stage to dance "The Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker". After this extraordinary experience and wishing from now on to have a greater impact on the dance sector and occupy an influential position, she chose to join IÉSEG to follow her International MBA.
Timer Immobilier - Sell your property for the highest price by inviting offers
Sold in 24 hours! Three offers for the full price on the same day. Have you ever heard of this happening? Doesn’t it make you think the seller could have sold for more? You are right to think so. It was after seeing this happen that Vanessa Blain (Grand École 2004) decided to set up Timer Immobilier. Timer Immobilier allows sellers to sell for more than the price indicated on the listing agreement if buyers are prepared to pay more. How does this work? Via an auction system that takes place online and is completely transparent. Read about Vanessa’s career and how her system, which is revolutionising the way properties are sold, works.
Training for jobs in Finance thanks to a variety of paths and programs
For IÉSEG, to be a major player in Finance training is absolutely necessary. To that end, the School has developed innovative programs adapted to market expectations. This is made possible thanks to its majors such as “Asset & Risk Management” and “Financial Transactions and Corporate Strategy”. There are also its apprenticeship program within the Grande École program, its Masters of Science in “Finance” and “Banking, Capital Markets & Financial Technology” as well as its Executive program in Financial Management. Therefore, IÉSEG offers a wide variety of paths and programs that meet the professional goals of all its students whether they are in their initial training or executive education.
The Digital Marketing & Innovation Club is back!
Three new representatives, Charlotte Kazmierczak (Grande École 2017), Dimitri Chauchoy (Grande École 2019) & Maxence Vanderswalmen (Grande École 2014), took over the helms of the club and hosted the first online meeting on Tuesday, January 25. A quick round table discussion highlighted the international dimension of the participants, based in Belgium, France, Spain, Switzerland... It also emphasized a strong interest in strengthening contacts despite the distance. The starting point of the discussion was the mission and vision of the club. A brainstorming session followed to gather ideas and themes to make the club dynamic and interactive: webinars, face-to-face aperitifs, coaching of junior profiles, exchange of best practices, job offers... We thank the participants and invite all alumni of digital and e-commerce to join them in this adventure.

Bachelor in International Business (BIB): students offer solutions to “Grand Scène”, a new street-food venue
Launched in 2020 by Geoffroy Marticou (Grande École 2013) in the heart of Lille, Grand Scène is the new go-to place for Lille street-food. Every year, through their “Business Models and Innovation” course, BIB students work in groups on real issues proposed by companies in relation to their business model. After international big companies, it is now time for local SMEs with very concrete problematics: Grand Scène asked them to work on its tangible strategic issues, such as attracting more customers in off-peak periods.
