[NEWSLETTER] October 2023 - Tick tock, tick tock... The IÉSEG Alumni Forever party is coming up!
Alexis Dreyfus - Faillite Football Club Sometimes you have to go back in time to understand how a project came about. A passion for soccer cultivated from childhood, a curiosity and desire to be an "changemaker" developed at IÉSEG, a second Master's degree in distressed company law, and a few years' professional experience. These are the steps behind Alexis' first book (Grande École 2017), entitled Faillite Football Club (Éditions Spinelle), published on June 9, 2023. Alexis tells us how his career path, and in particular his years at IÉSEG, influenced and helped him write his first book. Excellent reading! |
Sister Feel - The start-up that puts the chill in your panties! Yes, you read that right. Sister Feel offers perineal cryotherapy kits. Quite simply, this involves applying cold compresses to the perineum to relieve everyday pain and discomfort (sleep disorders, constipation, poor circulation, pelvic pain (endometriosis, menstruation, post-delivery, etc.). A little-known trick that some women share discreetly in system D mode, and that two sisters, Sophie and Juliette (Delcourt - Grande École 2009), have decided to democratize and make it concrete and practical. |

GTD or Getting Things Done In today's fast-paced world, it's natural to be overwhelmed by a never-ending stream of thoughts, tasks and ideas. The feeling of being overwhelmed leads to an accumulation of unfinished work, which in turn increases our stress. Conversely, high reactivity can waste precious time on activities that make little contribution to our overall productivity. The GTD ('Getting Things Done') method offers a practical and effective solution to these problems, providing a structured framework to help us stay in control, prioritize what's important and allocate our time effectively for greater productivity and peace of mind. Why not give it a try? |
See you on Saturday, October 7 for Flo'WeRun #5 What is Flo'WeRun? It's a run or walk in support of mothers' hearts held, for the fifth time, at the citadel in Lille or remotely! Nearly seven years ago, Florence, in charge of visiting professors and dissertations at IÉSEG, was struck down by peripartum cardiomyopathy just a few weeks after the birth of her second child. Every year, the IÉSEG community mobilizes to pay tribute to Florence and to raise awareness of this disease. Join us for this festive family run on Saturday, October 7, at 9:30 a.m.! For children, bikes, scooters, and strollers are welcome. |
