As an IÉSEG graduate, the school has provided you with an @ieseg.fr email address hosted by Microsoft. As part of its policy of more reasoned and more ecological use of data storage, this partner now imposes a much stricter limitation on the size of these email boxes. It is for these reasons that from August 2024, the capacity of your @ieseg.fr box will be reduced to 2GB. 

If the 2GB limit is exceeded: cleaning is necessary to return below the new storage limit. Your data and the reception of news mails will not be deleted but only accessible in read-only mode. Sending email messages will be blocked until you drop below the new storage limit. It will not be possible for a graduate to “purchase storage capacity” from IÉSEG or Microsoft.

Here are some recommendations to facilitate this transition:

1. Delete old emails: Review your old emails and delete those that are no longer needed.
2. Archive your important emails: Use archiving tools to locally save important emails that you want to keep.
3. Empty your spam and trash folder: These folders may contain unnecessary emails that take up space unnecessarily.
4. Remove large attachments: Consider downloading and deleting large attachments from emails.

Additionally, if you have files in OneDrive, they are also affected because 2GB is a total limit. We are aware of the effort and inconvenience that this can represent, especially during this holiday period. Unfortunately, the constraints imposed by Microsoft leave us with no other alternative.

The best practice to adopt for the future: to ensure the proper reception of communications from the IESEG Network association (invitations to events, newsletters on news from your network, information relating to new services, etc.) and messages from network members who could contact you via the directory, we encourage you to log into your profile on www.ieseg-network.com to change your notification address today and enter a personal email address. You can indicate this same email address for your identification in order to receive your forgotten password in the same place.
