The website available at https://ieseg-network.com is a site hosting the social and professional network created and managed by IÉSEG Network in order to allow graduates and students to keep in touch, to enhance training and promote employment and careers of alumni.
The use of this website https://ieseg-network.com implies acceptance of the present Terms of use.
The user of the site acknowledges having the skills and resources necessary to access this website and that the used computer configuration contains no virus and is in perfect working condition.
The user must be a graduate, a student or a teacher of IÉSEG Network and to have valid email address and date of birth in order to activate his/her account and to use the website.
Anonymous visitors may access the website, read articles and announcements on public events, but they are not allowed to visit the profiles, post comments or participate in discussions.
The user undertakes to register and to use a username or email address that don’t infringe the rights of third parties (family name, brand ...), or to use any name, company name or trademark with express authorization of the owner.
The texts, software, pictures, videos, databases and other developments on this website are protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. The user agrees not to reproduce in any form or by any means the above listed contents and/or any information or materials under protection of intellectual property and other laws without the express permission of IÉSEG Network and/or the original property holder of such information and materials.
The user guarantees IÉSEG Network that the testimony, comments, pictures and data of any kind disclosed by the user on this website are free from the third parties’ rights.
The user expressly consents that his/her testimonies and comments may be reproduced and / or represented for free in the supports of communication aiming at promotion of IÉSEG Network. The user accepts that the above mentioned rights are granted during the legal term of protection of these comments and testimonials.
The messages and pictures are posted at the sole responsibility of the author, who is liable for and bears all consequences related thereto. More specifically, the author guarantees IÉSEG Network against all actions of third parties resulting out of or in connection with the content of the message posted by its author. The author of the message expressly accepts to cover any amount of all costs and expenses incurred by IÉSEG Network with respect to any claims resulting out or in connection with the content of the message posted by the author. IÉSEG Network disclaim any responsibility for the content of information posted by users.
The registration on the website is free and effective as soon as the account is activated by the user. The registration implies the acceptance by the user of all conditions of the present Terms of use.
Each user is responsible for the personal account established on the date of its activation. The user is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of his/her account and for all activities that occur on or through his/her account, and agrees to immediately notify IÉSEG Network of any security breach of his/her account. IÉSEG Network shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of the account. All actions taken under this account are recorded and may be used in case of a dispute.
IÉSEG Network without any obligation to justify, reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the website https://ieseg-network.com anyone harms its reputation and / or breaches the present Terms of use.
When possible, the testimony and comments should be written in English in order to facilitate their understanding by all members of the community. If necessary, the moderator reserves the right to translate the concerned text (in case a member or visitor has not translated the text before that!)
To facilitate the use of the website and the reading of testimonials, the user should choose a clear title for his/her testimony. The user should also think to mention the geographic location in the subject, when useful. These details, anecdotes or emotions that you could convey, add value to your network.
For the respect and the good of everyone are deemed as prohibited: abusive, offensive, obscene messages, or defamatory content violating the rights of third parties, abusive language or language encouraging racism, pornography, pedophilia or crimes, the use of the website for purposes of propaganda, commercial prospecting or politics.
The moderator shall not moderate the messages in a way that could change their meaning. The moderator reserves the right of moving the message which is obviously placed in a wrong thematic group.

In this case, we kindly thank you to let us know about any error or abnormal information you may meet when using the website so that necessary corrections could be done.
IÉSEG Network does not guarantee that the use of the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. It is not liable for technical failures and data loss related to, or other damages or losses arising out of or in relation to the use of the website by the user.

The IÉSEG Network - association of alumni from IÉSEG - School of Management, is a non-profit organisation pursuant to the French Law of 1901. Its head office is located at 3 rue de la Digue, F-59000 Lille.
IÉSEG Network takes personal data protection very seriously.
This Personal Data Protection Policy is one of the methods used to ensure that the services IÉSEG Network offers its graduates, students, employees, recruiters and partners are of the highest standards. IÉSEG Network is committed to managing the information it collects in a secure and responsible manner.
To ensure it functions properly and achieves its goals, IÉSEG Network is required to process personal data relating to its graduates, students, employees, recruiters and partners. When you use IÉSEG Network’s website, update your data and profile, register for an event, publish a job offer, you are sending IÉSEG Network personal data belonging to you and/or authorising it to collect and process it.
IÉSEG Network is committed to processing your data in accordance with the legislation covering personal data and, in particular, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), as well as Law 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (Loi Informatique et Libertés – Data Protection Act) as amended.
Data Controller
The data controller is IÉSEG Network at 3, rue de la Digue, F-59000 Lille, represented by its President.
Definitions
- "Personal data" refers to information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (surname, forename, photo, email address, data obtained by cross-referencing anonymous information) ;
- "Processing" refers to any operation involving personal data, regardless of the method used (automated or otherwise) ;

- "Graduate" refers to any person who has completed an IÉSEG course and validated the end of his/her training ;

- "Employee" refers to any person who has an employment contract with IÉSEG Network ;
-”Partner" refers to any person or company acting as a participant, customer, supplier, subcontractor or co-contractor.
Which types of information are collected ?
The types and quantity of data collected vary depending on your relationship with IÉSEG Network (student, employee, graduates, administrators, recruiters, others) :
- Your name and contact details: including any information enabling us to contact you: your surname, forename, home address, email address and phone number.
- Demographic information: your date of birth, gender, nationality and marital status.
- Information relating to your education: your academic background in IÉSEG.
- Information relating to your education and career path : your professional contact details, CV, job title, skills and expertise, your career history.
- Login credentials: information you need to authenticate yourself and access your personal accounts/pages.
- Browsing information: you are interacting with our website when you use it. We collect certain information about your browsing activities.
- Financial and accounting information : these includes historical association dues and event registration fees.
How is this information collected ?

- when you apply for a job offer ;
- when you register to an event ;
- during meetings at events (convivial, professional, etc...) ;
- for the purposes of contractual and partner relations.

- our partners (organisers of physical and virtual events, for example) ;

- the school IÉSEG,
- The IÉSEG Foundation.
Why is this information collected ?
Depending on the case, IÉSEG Network processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- maintain a reliable and complete database ;
- to provide services and to answer questions ;
- enable the performance and monitoring of the contractual relationship ;
- to create marketing campaigns ;
- in proposals for services provided by IÉSEG Incubator events ;
- in proposals for services provided by IÉSEG Foundation events ;
- to produce statistical reports and surveys ;
- in dispute resolution; IÉSEG may need to process personal data in order to respond to claims or to defend its rights in court cases ;
- in the implementation of security measures for people and property (video surveillance, access badge management, login logs).
Who receives your data ? Depending on your profile, the following people may access your data:
- IÉSEG’s staff (administration, admission, human ressources, communication, international relations, corporate relations; IÉSEG’s incubator, juridic, logistic and IT services)
- controllers (purchasing, management control, etc.) ;
- student associations and the federation ;
- the IÉSEG Foundation ;
- national and international certification and accreditation bodies.
The profile of each user with access to the information system is defined on the basis of our authorization management policy and the need-to-know principle.
Please note, however, that your personal data may be sent to any authority which is legally empowered to access it. If it is, IÉSEG Network cannot be held responsible for the ways in which the staff at these authorities access and use your data.
What is the legal basis for our data processing operations ?
IÉSEG Network only collects, uses and shares your personal data in accordance with the regulations. We may process your data either:
- because you have given your consent. For certain operations including marketing campaigns, we can use your data because you have authorised us to do so.
- to meet pre-contractual needs or to execute the contract binding you to IÉSEG Network (or the company that employs you at IÉSEG Network). IÉSEG Network processes your data in order to execute the contract it has concluded with you and to fulfil its obligations.
- to meet legal obligations. In some cases, we need to collect or retain certain information about you in order to meet our own legal obligations, for example in relation to taxes or security.

How long is the information kept for ?
IÉSEG Network sets data retention periods according to its legal and contractual constraints and, otherwise, according to its needs.
Retention periods vary depending on a number of factors:
- IÉSEG Network's business requirements;

- contractual requirements;
- legal obligations (insurance policies, tax, compulsory declarations relating to staff management, etc.);
- recommendations made by supervisory bodies.
Your data may be retained beyond the end of our contractual relationship either to protect our rights in the event of legal disputes, or to enable us to fulfil our legal obligations.
Your personal data will be permanently deleted at the end of this period.
How do we guarantee that your information is secure ?
IÉSEG Network regularly reviews the technical and organisational measures it uses to guarantee the security of its Information System and to prevent unauthorised disclosure, disappearance or alteration (loss of confidentiality or integrity) of your personal data.
IÉSEG Network undertakes :
In the event of a breach of your personal data,
To notify CNIL (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés - French Data Protection Authority) pursuant to the provisions of the GDPR.
If said breach poses a high risk to the data subject, IÉSEG Network will notify him or her and provide the necessary information and recommendations.
In the event that your personal data are processed by a data processor,
To ensure that the data processor complies with its obligations under the GDPR. IÉSEG undertakes to sign written contracts with its data processors and to require them to apply the same data protection obligations as it does itself.
In the event that personal data are transferred to a third country outside the European Union or to an international organisation,
To inform the data subject of such and to ensure that his or her rights are respected in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.
