Newsletter

-

24/09/2020

It’s two words ... and yet it carries an eloquent and profound message.
Thank you to the 305 graduates who offered to support our Master's students through our mentoring programme. This might seem a trivial gesture at first glance, but it could prove to be a decisive one for some of our students. We will get back to you at the end of this month with your mentoree contact details.
Thank you also to the 47 IÉSEG who sent us their entries for the new issue of the Christmas Catalogue. We wish them every success for the future!

Pauline Delporte & Marie Fernandez – The Adventure of Two Lives

The story of Pauline and Marie (both Grande École 2008) began at IÉSEG. It was there that they first met and a friendship was born through group projects, sleepless nights, and lots of giggling ... until after five years together, they went their separate ways. A few years later, they met again and with Marie, a chocolate enthusiast, unable to live without coffee, and Pauline, a travel enthusiast, addicted to tea, the obvious next step was their idea for the Les Exploratrices tearoom. Take a look at the video portrait of these two entrepreneurs, who share so much more than a business.

Minidoc - An agency for the price of a freelancer

At a time when video accounts for 80% of internet traffic, businesses need to use video more than ever to communicate. Whether it’s motion design or a promotional film, Minidoc is the transparent alternative for the video needs of businesses! Founded in 2016 by Paul Gauducheau (Grande École 2017) and Aurélien, the agency has developed a platform for commissioning videos online. They want to put an end to quotes that can vary from single to triple figures! With Minidoc, the price is listed and that’s the price you pay. Find out why hundreds of companies are choosing to work with Minidoc.

Flo’WeRun – Your spot, your effort, our victory

Have you ever heard about the “Flo’WeRun”, solidarity race for the hearts of mothers? It’ a sport challenge, initiated for the first time in 2019, in memory of Florence, our colleague who passed away three months after the birth of her second child due to peripartum cardiomyopathy. And this year, health crisis or not, the Flo'WeRun will take place!
The conditions are a little different from the first edition to be sure not to take any risk with your health… That's why, it will be 100% remotely. Wherever you are, in France or even internationally, the Flo’WeRun is open to you! So put on your sneakers, and get ready to leave for the 5-k race or 3-k walkrun between October 3 to 11, 2020.
All the revenues will be donated to the CMPP association (Cœur des Mamans-Priorité Prévention).

The NUDGE or how to play the brain at its own game!

What do we mean by the Nudge? It’s the art of subtle influence… Like an elephant giving its calf a gentle push with its trunk to set it back on the right path, the Nudge is a way of encouraging people to go in one direction rather than another while respecting each person’s individual freedom. If you want to know more, read on and discover the fundamentals of this technique, identify examples that exist in everyday life and then think about how you could use Nudges to advance your own projects.
