The IÉSEG Entrepreneur Contest, organised every year by IÉSEG Network and the IÉSEG Incubator, is a flagship event dedicated to IÉSEG students and graduates who have launched their own business within the last five years.

This year, the 9th edition of the competition was held on Thursday 7 March on the IÉSEG campus in Paris and was accompanied by a new feature: IÉSEG Entrepreneurial Day, to discover and celebrate the initiatives of our ecosystem.

At the heart of this day of exchanges and discoveries, an IÉSEG start-ups forum and three inspiring conferences on student and alumni entrepreneurship:

  • "Being a student entrepreneur: they've done it, their tips and secrets" with Emerik Bricaud (Grande École 2023), Tristan Ferte (Grande École 2022) and Martina Molinaro (Master Student).
  • "From 0 to a million turnover as a student" with Jonathan Alev (Bachelor Student) and Antoine Godfroy (Previous Student).
  • "CEO Conference: Les Petits Prödiges" with Camille Brégeaut and Clémentine Granet (both Grande École 2015).

The most eagerly awaited moment of the day was the presentation of the IÉSEG 2024 Entrepreneur Awards. The six finalists - auditioned by a panel of experts during the afternoon - presented their projects to the public. The finalist start-ups were:

  • Mansiones Coliving, co-created by Basile Huvet (Grande École 2021) and Lucas Kihlgren (Grande École 2022)
  • Payzan, co-founded by Tristan Ferte (Grande École 2022)
  • Réutec, co-created by Pierre Malbranque (Grande École 2021)
  • Schoolme, co-founded by Colin Dubreux and Antoine Stoltz (both Master Students)
  • Timed, co-created by David Lourdel (Grande École 1994)
  • ZENTAG, founded by Nathan Viaud (Master Student)

Payzan won the €8,000 IÉSEG 2024 Entrepreneur Award. Farmers and producers of organic soya for several years in the Aisne region, Tristan Ferte and his brother market aperitif products made from the soya they harvest. They offer roasted soya beans and soya hummus that are good for your health and good for the planet!

The Jury's Favourite Award, worth €3,000, went to Mansiones Coliving, run by Basile HUVET and Lucas KIHLGREN. Their innovative concept of intergenerational co-living aims to combat social isolation by providing a pleasant and friendly living environment.

The day ended with a cocktail reception, giving participants the opportunity to continue exchanging ideas and networking in a convivial atmosphere!
